Aloe is an amazing plant, known to have many health benefits. It is wonderfully helpful in numerous ways. I would even go as far as to say that, Aloe is an essential house plant. It was once referred to as the plant of immortality in North- Eastern Africa. From Egypt to Eritrea and throughout the lands it has been used for centuries, in beauty, as well in health. From hair to skin and digestive problems the benefits seem to be endless. These reasons are some of many as to why I love my Aloe Vera plants. All of my aloe have been passed down from generation to generation. Cared for and used as and when needed. I have a multitude of memories from my childhood. Me breaking the aloe leave and using the gel to rub in my hair, on a scar or on a burn. Occasionally mother would encourage us kids to eat it, to bitter the blood and encourage a healthy gut she said' as she laughed whilst we pulled a bitter face. I'm going to share some wonderful tips and uses for this essential house plant, and how I benefit from having aloe around.
